Fairfield High School's senior class did it's walk-through this morning at Benton, New Paris and Millersburg - a final spin through the halls of their youth. The elementary students and staff lined the halls and cheered as the seniors soaked up the adoration. Here is a photo set from the morning from the three buildings, and we'll have a little video of the events coming in just a little bit! Enjoy!

Details on the flier for the Fairfield Color Guard Summer Camp!

Fairfield High School was the host for a special party Tuesday morning as Rebecca Tarman was celebrated for her upcoming retirement.
Tarman is a 31-year teaching veteran, her first nine years at Syracuse Elementary and the last 23 with Fairfield Community Schools.
The celebration was put together by Stacey Mehlberg and Wendi Sparks, both close friends and teachers at Fairfield Jr/Sr High School. Tarman had a cake and was also joined by the FHS Life Skills students to add to the celebration.
Congratulations to Tarman on a fantastic teaching career and well wishes into her retirement!

The location is north of Fairfield Jr/Sr High School located at 15670 CR 42, Goshen, IN, 46528, situated to the left of the gravel lane off of CR 42. The Open House will be from 3-6 p.m.
This year's 1500 sq. ft. home was constructed for Wayne and Zoe Stanger. It is a two-bed, two-bathroom ranch-style home. The features include walk in showers, attached garage, cathedral ceiling, radiant floor heating and cedar accented front porch.

Everyone wants a voice in the world, it's just a matter of how you speak. And for some, speaking is a little more difficult. Fairfield recognizes that by employing speech pathologists, like Faith Mahony shown here with her students at New Paris Elementary. Hers and others' work with our students help put our kids on the right track to have a say in this awesome world we live in.
Thank you to those who serve our students as we recognize National Speech Pathologist's Day!

Jill Anderson's veterinary class at Fairfield ventured to a local breeding facility to assist with annual exams and vaccinations. The onsite opportunity furthers what the students are already learning within the classroom during the year, and a nice way to punctuate the end of the year.
Special thanks to Anderson for providing the photos!

Bienvenidos!
The New Paris fifth graders in Tim Haines' class held the annual Spanish Market. It was about the hustle: the students in Haines' class learned and experienced a mini economy in selling goods while the incoming classes from around the school were given $20 (play money) to purchase the actual commodities. From cans of Mello Yello to football cards, from braided bracelets to Reese Cups, everything was for sale.
Haines noted the students take 15 minutes every Friday to learn basic Spanish, and those simple nouns and verbs were encouraged to be part of the buy/sell atmosphere.

It'll be a night of chilllllll.
Fairfield's music department will be hosting a Jazz n' Java Night on Tuesday, May 23, starting at 7 p.m. in the Fairfield Jr/Sr High School cafeteria.
Entry fee is $5 (students and children under 4 are free).
The experience is a night of music, desserts and cafe beverages while featuring the Fairfield jazz band and vocalists.
Come for the coffee, stay for the tunes.
