DayInTheLife - Fairfield Cosmetology recently dug into Chop Shop Week, where students added techniques and resources to their bags. For many of the students, it was their first time cutting hair, a precursor to having live clients in their chairs in the coming weeks. Find out how Elise Schwartz and the crew did, and check our Instagram page for a video of the action. https://www.fairfield.k12.in.us/article/1249734

OK, so this worked out pretty cool tonight. The 'Blue Moon' did not disappoint, super cool to see. But to also see Saturn, awesome! I used my 500mm lens and camera frame that I always use for ballgames and aimed at space tonight. Really neat to see the universe at our fingertips! Photos were taken around 11:25 p.m. pointing southeast. The Saturn image is a little rough, but I'm standing in my backyard without a planetarium-grade telescope at my disposal!!! Just thought I would share! --Mike Deak, FCS Admin Asst.--
