Hey Falcon Nation! Did you know that our Fairfield Community Schools website and app both have all of the weekly/monthly bulletins from each school saved in PDF form? If you missed an edition, you can go back all the way to the beginning of the school year to find them from our three elementary schools. Just search for your school, then head to 'documents' and find the folder titled either "Bobcat Bulletin" , "Cub Reporter" or "Millersburg Newsletters". The same goes with breakfast and lunch menus. If your child forgets to bring one home, or you just need to find out in the morning what's to eat for the day, we have all the PDF copies for each school in our corporation in the 'documents' section. On our app, we also have the 'Dining' tab that lists for each day and week!

Fairfield's football season has been over for a couple months now, but the team was recently sent a pair of accolades for its servant leadership. The team was named to the Indiana Football Coaches Association "Good Works" award list, which highlights teams and individuals that go above and beyond success on the playing surface. Fairfield was listed, as per the release from IFCA via the Indianapolis Star, “The Fairfield team completed several community service projects throughout the year. The “Read with a Falcon” program for elementary students occurs monthly. Players volunteered at the Elkhart County Fair and a local restaurant. Finally, the team helped the Fairfield Food Pantry move to a new building.” Teams from NorthWood, Plymouth, Garrett and Columbia City were also among those recognized. Fairfield manager Grace Dunlap was also notified that she was named a Region 2 All-Star manager. Dunlap was one of less than a half dozen managers from Region 2 with the distinction of excellence in her role with the program. Region 2 comprises of football programs from the north central portion of Indiana. Well done to the Falcons for their work off the field, as well as on it!

January is School Board Appreciation Month, and with it, Fairfield Community Schools took time at the recent school board meeting to show its appreciation for the work our board members put into making our school corporation great! Among the appreciation was a thank you poster made by the classes at New Paris Elementary School, signed by students in each class. Board Vice President Brian Wogoman and Fairfield Assistant Superintendent Monica Kegerreis are shown checking out the poster during the meeting. We thank Board President Sarah Elledge, Vice President Brian Wogoman, Treasurer Tyler Rensberger, and Board Members Marilee Keim and Aaron Rink, for all of their work and dedication to Fairfield!
