Fairfield hosts rival Jimtown in the first round of the IHSAA Football Sectional, game set for Oct. 20.

Your kids were off school on Friday - here's why!
Our teachers were participating in what's called Response To Intervention, or RTI, where they spent the day at Fairfield Junior/Senior High School learning about the processes of RTI and how it correlates to helping our students better themselves. The RTI process fits into the overall Professional Learning Community, or PLC, which Friday was bolstered by a pair of guest speakers: Mike Mattos, who joined the teachers virtually from California, and in person by Eric Twadell, both sharing initiatives and strategies for our teachers to utilize in their own classrooms.

"Life is a beautiful mess, embrace the chaos and find joy in the imperfections."
We often overlook our messes, but we cannot overlook those who clean up behind us. On National Custodian Day, we SALUTE and THANK all of our Fairfield Community School custodial staffs for the countless hours and thankless jobs they do for our schools.
So THANK YOU custodians!!!
