Another success story from our Pathways Programs students!
Several Fairfield and Wawasee students were among the recognized at the Indiana Association of School Broadcasters spring conference, which honors achievement in radio and television broadcasting at the scholastic level. As part of the Pathways sponsored CPG-TV and 93.7 FM The Mix formats hosted by Wawasee High School, three Fairfield students were in 'the mix' for state accolades in the ceremony held at Butler University.
The radio station received third place overall in the 'Radio Station of the Year' category.
Fairfield junior Brayden Replogle won first place in Radio Adapted Drama, which involved Replogle creating a modified screenplay to be broadcast over the radio (think old time radio).
Fairfield senior Dylan Gill took second place in Radio Spot Production, and classmate Phillip Yoder was an honorable mention in radio interview.
Also winning awards from Wawasee were Zac Bowen, Aidan Cabeen, Ana Alves, Issac Winters and Riley Kerlin taking third place in Radio Sporting Event Broadcast and honorable mention in Live Video Sports (football/basketball); and Christian Garcia won first place in Radio Spot Production for his creation of a 30-second radio commercial promo.
Outstanding job all around by the broadcasting students, getting real world experience and being recognized for their achievements!
