Cross Country opened its season Saturday at the Hokum Karen Invite. The
high school varsity program finished second in the small school division
and the JV went ahead and won their division.

Addie Mast continued to elevate her golf game, dropping her personal best to a round of 73 in the trio against Northridge and Lakeland on Tuesday. After shooting two over after three holes, Mast carded five birdies to hit the personal milestone, which left her just one over for the 18-hole round. The 18th-ranked Raiders won the meet with a 325 to Fairfield’s 409, which split by taking the half against Lakeland’s 465. Bella Blosser was sub-100 with a 99 to help the Fairfield cause.

Volleyball also opened its 2023 campaign and gave rookie head coach Madeline Gawthrop her first career coaching win with a 3-0 win over Eastside. Eva Herbert, McKenna Fisher and Madison Jones combined for 27 kills, Maddy Miller had 26 assists and Fisher, Addy Piasecki and Amanda McGuire combined for 20 digs. Herbert added four blocks and Piasecki had two aces in the opener.
