School closings and delays will be determined by the superintendent after consultation with county police, and directors of facilities and transportation.  Notification to students and families will be made through the district’s Power Announcement system connected to PowerSchool, as well as being on the School’s website and through Social Media.  Announcements will also be made by the following commercial television stations:   

TV channel 16 – WNDU 

TV channel 22 – WSBT

The announcement should be on the air by 6:30 a.m.  Students and parents should utilize these outlets and not call school officials or staff members.
